We have learned that a very high percentage of cases that are submitted to the Social Security office are turned down the first time. Many become depressed and feel that there is no hope. Just because the SS office tell you that you are not qualified does not always mean this is true. When we review your case, we will either decide on a percentage fee of your back benefits recieved (Contingency) or a Percent Payment, which is where LHSS and the client enter into an agreement which allows the client to pay in advance a percentage (25%)  of the total
fee for services (Total amt. agreed to upon taking case). The third
option is the "Pay Per Services Rendered" plan. LHSS will charge a
set fee for each of the appeal levels he represents. Fee agreements
used in this option are totally seperate from one appeal to the next.
We understand that each person has a different set of circumstances
and this is why we have different ways to allow us to help you with
your Social Security Disability Claim.
Once we have your case we will be able to determine relatively quickly if you meet the requirements for disability. If you choose not to pursue help in attaining social security disability, and/or give up on trying, then the administration would win. The Application process is time consuming and can take from 10 weeks to 12 months. This process can be easier and quicker with a representative. We are able to talk to the Social Security Administration for you during the decision making process. In some cases we can present medical evidence that we have already gathered. SSA can take months gathering medical records and if we are allowed to help you we can quicken this by obtaining your medical records.
